What happens if Scotty categorizes something wrong?
You fix it, and Scotty remembers the correction. Every categorization is visible and editable in the ledger, and nothing is locked until you close the period.
Can Scotty just go do things without me?
No. Drafting and sending are separate operations in the software, and Scotty only has the first one. It also has no ability to move money at all.
Is $39 too good to be true?
Starter genuinely doesn’t include reconciliation or the full assistant. If your books need to tie out every month, you want Plus at $79. We’d rather tell you that now than refund you later.
Do I have to leave QuickBooks first?
No. The import brings your history across, and it’s included on every plan. If you want QuickBooks kept in sync afterward, that’s a paid add-on.
What about my accountant?
They can have a seat. Plenty of accounting firms run their own clients on Scotty, which is what the partner program is.
What if I hate it?
Cancel in Billing before day 7 and you’re not charged. After that it’s month to month and you can cancel any time.
